The Prince George Spruce Kings have added a goaltender to their roster, with the signing of Keenan Rancier (00) from Victoria, BC.
Rancier, was with the Nanaimo Buccaneers of the VIJHL, and played in 5 games earlier this season in the BCHL with the Victoria Grizzlies.
Last season, he sported a 2.29 GAA and .921 Save % with the Okanagan Hockey Academy Midget Prep program in Penticton.
Spruce Kings General Manager Mike Hawes stated, “We’re excited to be adding Keenan to our roster. He’s a good young athletic goalie with good size who has spent the past couple of seasons developing with a great program at OHA. He’s got some experience in our league and I wanted one of our goalies to be in that 2000 birth year age group.”
