Watson-Brawn sings on the dotted line with Colgate University

The Prince George Spruce Kings are very excited to announce that 18 year old defenseman Liam Watson-Brawn has committed to play NCAA Division 1 hockey at Colgate University.

Colgate University is liberal arts school located in Hamilton, New York and has an enrollment just under 3,000 students.

The Raiders hockey team play in the very competitive ECAC Hockey Conference.

“We are very excited for Liam and his commitment to Colgate University. Liam is a dedicated student of the game and has developed into a very good 200 foot defensemen who competes extremely hard every night. Liam has a high ceiling and we look forward to tracking his progress in NCAA Division 1 hockey and beyond” said Spruce Kings Head Coach Adam Maglio.

“We are very excited and happy for Liam. He is a very dedicated young man who works very hard on his game every time he is on the ice. He has been a very dependable player for us since joining our team to start last season. He will continue to work hard to develop his game with us to prepare himself for NCAA hockey with a great program at Colgate” said Spruce Kings General Manager Mike Hawes.
