“I wanted to add a top 6 forward with skill and grit and a top defenseman with some size and skill and was able to accomplish both with this move,” said Spruce Kings General Manager, Mike Hawes. “Taylor and Valik will both play big roles with our hockey club this upcoming season.”

“It’s always difficult to give up a player like Skylar,” continued Hawes. “Skylar has been with us for three full seasons and very much contributed to our on ice and off ice successes during his time here. We wish him the best in Cowichan Valley.”
