The Prince George Spruce Kings are back from the Christmas Holidays and ready to fight for first place in the Mainland Division with a pair of tilts with the 1st place Langley Rivermen Friday and Saturday at the Rolling Mix Concrete Arena.
The Spruce Kings have been hot on home ice as of late, going 7-1 during their previous 8 game home stand. They went 1-1-1 on their pre-Christmas road trip to Coquitlam, Victoria, and Cowichan Valley.
Thanks to Pacific Coastal Airlines, there will be 2 flights for two people given away at Friday night’s home game, with a special first intermission contest determining one of the winners.
Prior to puck drop on Friday as well, there will be a special ceremony as the Spruce Kings recognize Team Canada West’s success at the 2017 World Junior A Challenge that was held in Truro, Nova Scotia, December 10-16.
