Layton Ahac

Layton Ahac

Position: Defenceman

DOB: February 22nd, 2001

Hometown: North Vancouver, BC

As of now, Layton Ahac is set to be the youngest player on the Spruce Kings roster next season. The last 16 year old the team had was Brogan O’Brien, but amongst the collective minds of the Spruce Kings staff (and BCHL website rosters) there isn’t memory of the last 16 year old to suit up full time for the squad.

Playing for the E15 West Van Warriors last year of the Canadian Sport School Hockey League (CSSHL), Ahac captained the club, and put up 11 goals and 18 assists for 29 points in 41 games. The defenceman signed with the Spruce Kings after coming to the 2017 Spring Prospects Camp. In the Top Prospects Game he finished with two assists helping Team Blue to a 6-3 victory.

Ahac joins returning Spruce Kings Bryan Allbee, Drew Lennon, Sam De Melo, and Liam Watson-Brawn on the blue line.
