Spruce Kings Games vs the Chilliwack Chiefs Have Been Rescheduled
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

PRINCE GEORGE, BC – The Prince George Spruce Kings of the British Columbia Hockey League (BCHL) have been able to reschedule both of their home games versus the Chilliwack Chiefs that had been previously cancelled. The Spruce Kings will host the Chiefs on Sunday night December 15th at 7pm and again Monday night December 16th at 7pm in the Prince George Coliseum.

Spruce Kings General Manager, Mike Hawes spent most of the day in talks with CUPE Local 399, the City of Prince George and the Chilliwack Chiefs to come up with the rescheduled dates and times to play the games.

“We are very pleased to be able to get these games in,” said Spruce Kings Communications Director, Ron Gallo. “We want to thank all involved for making this happen and look forward to playing the Chilliwack Chiefs in our home arena Sunday and Monday night.”

“Sunday’s game at 7pm will be the “Drop the Gloves and Sock it to ‘Em” game,” continued Gallo. “We are once again inviting fans to bring new gloves, socks and toques in plastic bags that can be thrown on the ice when the Spruce Kings score their first goal of the game. Non-perishable food items are also being accepted as donation items for the St. Vincent de Paul Society.”

The Spruce Kings would also like to apologize for any inconvenience that the rescheduling of games may cause. Please note that tickets printed with the December 14th game will be honoured Sunday night and tickets dated for December 15th will be used on Monday night.
