Corey Hoffman Traded to Cowichan Valley for Future Considerations

The Prince George Spruce Kings have traded 19 year old forward Corey Hoffman to the Cowichan Valley Capitals in exchange for future considerations.

Hoffman had joined the Spruce Kings prior to the start of the season after spending the previous season with The Odessa Jackalopes of the North American Hockey League (NAHL). This season with the Spruce Kings Hoffman had recorded 11 goals and 20 assists for 31 points in 41 games played. He is committed to attend Cornell University for the 2016/2017 season.

“Corey is a good kid and a very good player. He played for well for us in his time here and I know that he enjoyed his time in Prince George. This opportunity will allow Corey to continue his development, with a good organization that is hoping to make some noise in the BCHL playoffs this season, as he prepares to play NCAA hockey in Cornell next season. We would like to thank Corey for his contributions to the Spruce Kings and wish him all the best in Cowichan Valley and in his future” said Spruce Kings General Manager Mike Hawes.
