DOB: July 18th, 1996

Hometown: Waterdown, ON

This past season was the first in the BCHL for Adam Burnett. Acquired from the Ancaster Avalanche in the offseason, Burnett entered the team with leadership experience as the former captain of the Milton Icehawks in the Ontario Junior Hockey League.

Burnett was a co-recipient of the Iron Man award this season playing in all 58 of the Spruce Kings games. In those games he recorded three goals, 10 assists, and 76 PIM. His first point came at the BCHL Bauer Showcase where he picked up an assist in the team’s first win of the season against the Trail Smoke Eaters. His first goal came a little over a month later when he picked up the game winning goal against the Coquitlam Express on the power play.

This will be Burnett’s final year of junior eligibility, and will look to take on a leadership role with the team as one of the returning defenders.
